Shallow Depth-of-Field in Drawing Exercise

In beginning drawing art on Wednesday, November 28 we were drawing a still life. We were all supposed to use the 18x24” 400 series paper and tone it. We could sit wherever we wanted in the room as long as we made our drawing interesting. Everyone in the class was to draw around six to eight objects from the still life. Sight measuring was crucial for this assignment. We were using depth-of-field by choosing the objects we wanted to stick out and having some objects blurred. Basically we are putting together everything we have learned over this semester and using it to better our drawings. If you didn’t finish the project in class, you are supposed to come in on your own time to finish. Everyone’s projects are turning out great.
